11st is built for shoppers inside Korea. It once ran an English global store, but that address did not load when we checked on October 4, 2026, and the Korean site delivers to Korean addresses. Overseas buyers need a forwarding address or a purchasing agent. This guide covers what 11st is good for, the sign-up and payment hurdles, what its Shooting Delivery costs, how returns work, and how to order without a Korean phone number.

What is 11st and why do overseas shoppers want it?

11st, written 11번가 (sibil-beonga) in Korean and sometimes "11street" in English, is one of Korea's long-running open marketplaces. It started inside the SK Telecom group and was spun off as its own company in 2018.

Like other open marketplaces, most products come from independent sellers. On top of that, 11st stocks a range of goods itself and delivers them through a service called 슈팅배송 (Shooting Delivery). Use of that service roughly tripled in late 2025, as shoppers looked for alternatives to the market leader.

11st has a reputation for price events. Its annual November sale, held around 11/11, is one of the biggest dates in Korean online shopping. Daily time deals and brand coupons run all year.

There is also a quirk worth knowing. Since August 2021, 11st has hosted an Amazon Global Store that lets Korean customers order Amazon US products. That section is for importing into Korea. If you live abroad, it is not the part of 11st you want.

What overseas shoppers do want: Korean electronics accessories, beauty sets with 11st-only coupons, bulk food, and items from sellers who list on 11st and nowhere else.

Can you buy from 11st directly from overseas?

Not realistically. Here is where it stops.

No international storefront. 11st launched an upgraded global shopping site in English and Chinese in 2017, with combined shipping and foreign payment options. When we tried the global address on October 4, 2026, it did not resolve. 11st's terms still define a "Global 11st" for overseas sales, and we found no closure announcement, but for practical purposes there is no English 11st to order from today.

Sign-up and verification. 11st's terms of service define 본인확인 (bon-in hwagin, identity verification) as verification by mobile phone or by i-PIN, a Korean online ID number. The same terms say a person may create several IDs, but only the first verified one can be used to buy. Both methods assume a Korean identity.

Payment. Sources disagree about foreign cards on 11st. One English guide says global cards are accepted, another reports that international cards often fail and that checkout expects matching Korean billing details. Treat a foreign card as a gamble.

Address. The checkout form takes a Korean address and a Korean contact number for the courier.

Is there an 11st Global site?

There was one. We could not load it in October 2026, and you should not plan a purchase around it. If it returns, we will update this guide.

Three ways to buy from 11st when you live abroad

1. Buy directly (Korean credentials required)

If you have a verified 11st account and a Korean card, you can check out. You still need a Korean address to deliver to, which leads to the next option.

2. Use a package forwarding address

A forwarder provides a Korean warehouse address and ships your parcel abroad. You place and pay for the 11st order yourself. This is the cheaper route for people who can already check out, and no help at all for people who cannot.

3. Use a purchasing agent such as HaulKorea

You send an 11st product link. HaulKorea buys it, receives it at a Korean warehouse, photographs it and ships it to you. No 11st account, Korean number or Korean card is needed.

How to order from 11st with HaulKorea, step by step

1. Find the item on 11st.co.kr. The site is in Korean. Browser translation is good enough to browse, although text inside images will not translate.
2. Copy the product link. It contains "products/" followed by a number. Copy the full address.
3. Record the option. 11st listings use stacked dropdowns, for example color first, then size. Write both, or send a screenshot. 4.** Add quantity and options.
4. Pick your country.
5. Check the total. One figure covers the product, Korean domestic shipping, the service fee and international shipping.7. Pay once with PayPal. No additional charge follows. If the real weight is lower than the estimate, the shipping difference is refunded.
6. Receive inspection photos, then a tracking number.

If you shop over several weeks, you can have parcels held at the Korean warehouse and combined into one box.

What 11st costs before international shipping

Two delivery types decide the domestic cost.

Shooting Delivery. 11st buys or stores these products and ships them itself. Orders before midnight arrive the next day anywhere in Korea, and orders before about noon arrive the same day in the Seoul area. Weekend same-day delivery was added, so the service runs seven days a week. In its February 2026 announcement, 11st described the service as free to use with no monthly fee and no minimum purchase.

Since February 2026, 11st has also added two protections. If a Shooting Delivery parcel misses its promised date, the buyer gets 1,000 11pay points per order. And unused, unopened items can be returned or exchanged free of charge once per order, a benefit first offered to 11st Plus members. In October 2026, Shooting Delivery listings in search results carried a free-return label.

Seller-shipped items. Independent sellers set their own courier fee and free-shipping threshold, printed under the price. Orders from two sellers carry two fees.

11st Plus. The membership is free. Up to five people join as a group, and reaching monthly purchase goals earns 11pay points and category benefits. It passed one million members in August 2025. It has no bearing on international orders, but it explains the "member price" labels you will see.

What to buy on 11st

Typical listing ranges as of October 2026:

• Phone and tablet accessories, roughly ₩5,000 to ₩40,000. Korean case and protector brands list their full ranges here.
• Beauty bundles with marketplace coupons. One official-brand serum duo with bonus minis was ₩53,280 on Shooting Delivery in October 2026, down from a ₩74,000 list price. Sets often include extras like this.
• Korean pantry goods in bulk. 20-packs of ramyeon were listed at about ₩22,900 to ₩30,560 in October 2026. Seaweed snacks and instant coffee sticks are also common. Shelf-stable only.
• Small kitchen appliances, roughly ₩30,000 to ₩150,000. Check voltage: Korea uses 220V.
• Health and fitness gear, roughly ₩10,000 to ₩60,000. Massage tools and home-training items are strong sellers.
• Kids' and character goods, roughly ₩5,000 to ₩50,000. Korean animation characters with little overseas distribution.
• Fashion basics, roughly ₩8,000 to ₩50,000. Multi-packs of socks, innerwear and loungewear.

Compare prices with Gmarket before you decide. The two marketplaces share many sellers, and coupons make one cheaper than the other on any given day.

Things that go wrong on 11st orders (and how to avoid them)

Time-deal prices expire. 11st's daily deals last hours. If the deal ends before purchase, the price returns to normal. Tell us your maximum price so we know whether to proceed.

Coupon prices depend on the account. The page may show a price after a first-purchase or card-specific coupon. A quote reflects the price available at purchase time.

E-coupons and gift vouchers. 11st sells many digital vouchers for Korean cafes and stores. These only work in Korea and are not something to export.

Amazon Global Store items. These ship from the US into Korea. Routing them through Korea to another country adds cost and customs steps for no benefit. Order those from Amazon in your region.

Option sold out. Marketplace stock is per option. Give a second choice.

Restricted goods. Power banks, loose lithium batteries, aerosols, perfume and nail polish face air-shipping limits. Large electronics. Monitors and appliances can be bought, but size and weight push shipping costs up quickly, and warranties are generally valid only in Korea.

Returns, sizing and customs

11st's return rules

A change-of-mind return or exchange must be requested within 7 days of receiving the item. If the product differs from its description or the contract was not honored, the window is three months from receipt, or 30 days from the day you learned of the problem. Return shipping for a change of mind is paid by the buyer, except where the Shooting Delivery free-return benefit applies.

What changes when an agent buys for you

The 7 days start when the parcel is delivered in Korea. That is why HaulKorea photographs every item on arrival. A wrong color, a missing part or visible damage can be raised with the seller while the window is open.

After the parcel has left Korea, returning it for a change of mind usually costs more in postage than the item is worth. Our refund policy sets out what is covered.

Sizing

Check the seller's measurement table, usually an image inside the product description. Clothing is listed in centimeters and shoes in millimeters. One-size items are common.

Customs

Duty rules are different in every country. For all destinations except the United States, duties and taxes are not included in a HaulKorea quote and the recipient pays on arrival.

The United States suspended its $800 duty-free allowance for all countries on August 29, 2025. HaulKorea quotes for US addresses include duties, so there is nothing to pay at delivery.

FAQ

Does 11st ship internationally?

Not in a way we could confirm in October 2026. The former English global store did not load, and the Korean site delivers within Korea. Overseas buyers use a forwarder or a purchasing agent.

Is 11st the same as 11street?

Yes. 11번가 is the Korean name, 11st is the short form used in its web address, and 11street is the English brand name.

Can I pay on 11st with a foreign credit card?

Possibly, but reports conflict and many foreign shoppers describe failed payments. A Korean-issued card is the dependable method.

What is Shooting Delivery?

It is 11st's own fast-delivery service. Orders before midnight are delivered the next day across Korea. For an international order, it shortens the Korean leg, since the item reaches the warehouse a day after purchase.

Can HaulKorea buy items from 11st's Amazon Global Store?

We do not recommend it. Those products come from the United States, so buying them through Korea adds shipping and customs for no gain.

How long does an 11st order take to arrive?

Shooting Delivery items reach the Korean warehouse the next day, and seller-shipped items take a few days. International transit depends on your country.
