How to Buy Korea-Only Items from Weverse Shop from Overseas (2026 Guide)

By HaulKorea · Last checked 2026-10-05

Weverse Shop sells to overseas buyers directly. It accepts PayPal and foreign cards, and many products are marked for global shipping. So before you look for help, check whether the item simply ships to you. Where an agent becomes useful is narrower: products that will not deliver to your country, orders you want sent to Korea first, or a box that combines Weverse items with other Korean stores. This guide shows how the shop is organized, real won prices, the chart rule in Weverse's own words, and the Korea-delivery route.

What Weverse Shop is and why fans use it

Weverse Shop is the store attached to Weverse, the fan platform run by Weverse Company in Seongnam, Korea. For BTS, SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM and many other artists, it is the first-party shop. Each artist has its own storefront with tabs such as Album, Merch, Tour Merch, DVD/Media and Membership.

Three things set it apart from a general album retailer. It sells the fan-club memberships themselves, and the BTS storefront lists Global, Japan and US memberships as separate products. It attaches its own benefits to albums. And it sells "Weverse Albums" versions, the QR-based format with photocards and no disc.

It is also not a single seller. The help center lists three: Weverse Global, Weverse Japan and Weverse America, each with its own return policy. The site footer adds that some products come from individual third-party sellers, with Weverse acting only as an intermediary for those.

"Global" versus "Korea": how the shop is actually organized

Many guides describe a "Global shop" and a separate "Korea shop". The current site works differently, and the difference matters.

At the top of every page you set three things: language, currency and shipping country. With Korean, KRW and KR selected, the BTS storefront shows prices in won with a "tax included" label, and each product carries a "KR 발송" (KR balsong, ships from Korea) tag. The notices on that same storefront are signed "Weverse Global". In other words, the won-priced view and the "Global" seller are the same Korea-based operation. What changes with your settings is the currency, the tax display and the payment methods offered.

Tax display. Since February 3, 2026, orders shipped to Korea show tax-inclusive prices from the product page through checkout. Orders shipped elsewhere show tax-exclusive prices, and the tax for your country is added and prepaid at checkout once you enter the address. A billing address field was added at the same time.

Payment by currency. A Weverse Global notice from October 2026 lists the options. In won you can use cards, PayPal, Eximbay, Alipay+, Apple Pay, WeChat Pay, Payco, Toss, Naver Pay, Kakao Pay and Weverse Card. In US dollars: PayPal, Eximbay, Alipay+, Apple Pay, WeChat Pay and GrabPay. In yen: PayPal, Eximbay, Alipay+, Apple Pay and WeChat Pay. In Chinese yuan: Eximbay, Alipay+, Apple Pay and WeChat Pay. In Mexican pesos: PayPal and Apple Pay.

Address language. The same notice sets rules by destination. Korean addresses must be typed in Korean, Japanese addresses in Japanese, mainland China addresses in Simplified Chinese with the recipient's real name matching their ID. Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and all other destinations use English. Accented characters such as á or ñ can make a parcel undeliverable. A detailed address line is mandatory, and Weverse warns against starting it with a hyphen or comma.

What "Korea-only" means here. Sale notices state whether a product can ship worldwide. The October 2026 magazine pre-order, for instance, says "global shipping available". When that line is missing, or when the product page tells you after login that it cannot ship to your country, the item is effectively Korea-only for you.

Can you order from Weverse Shop directly from overseas?

In most cases, yes.

You need a Weverse account. Pick your artist, set your currency and shipping country, and the product page will tell you after login whether the item ships to you. Pay with PayPal or a card. Shipping and, since February 2026, your country's taxes are charged at checkout.

You do not need an agent when:

  • The product ships to your country.
  • You are buying a fan-club membership, or anything gated by your membership.
  • You want an event entry or purchase verification tied to your own account.

An agent or a Korean address is worth considering when:

  • The product page says it cannot ship to your country.
  • You are buying from several Korean stores and want one international parcel.
  • You prefer one PayPal payment with the total known in advance.

One more thing to know. Product pages carry a notice that the item is sold to residents of the seller's country and that the seller country's withdrawal, refund and payment policies apply. We do not know how Weverse applies that line in practice, so we are not going to tell you a Korea-delivery order placed for someone abroad is certain to be accepted.

Three ways to buy, compared

Direct, shipped abroad Direct, shipped to a Korean forwarding address We buy for you (HaulKorea)
Who orders You You HaulKorea
Account on the order Yours Yours HaulKorea's
Price display Tax-exclusive, tax added at checkout Tax-inclusive, in won Tax-inclusive won price inside one HaulKorea total
Address Yours, in English Forwarder's, typed in Korean Yours
Payment PayPal, cards and others, by currency Same PayPal to HaulKorea
Items that do not ship to your country Not possible Possible Possible, unless account-restricted
Membership-only items Yes, with your membership Yes Ask us before you order
Payments you make One Two One
Inspection photos No Depends on the forwarder Yes

Direct is right for most single orders. A forwarding address suits buyers who need their own account on the order and are comfortable entering a Korean address in Hangul. A purchasing agent suits buyers who would rather not handle that, or who are consolidating.

Step by step: ordering through HaulKorea

  1. Open the product on shop.weverse.io with currency set to KRW, and copy the link. Product links contain "/sales/" and a number. 2.3. Choose options and quantity. Some albums are sold as "Random" version only. Stay inside the per-product limit shown on the page.
  2. Pick your country. You see one total that includes international shipping. For the United States it includes duties.
  3. Pay once with PayPal. No second invoice. If the weighed parcel is lighter than estimated, the shipping difference is refunded.
  4. HaulKorea places the order for delivery to its Korean warehouse.
  5. Inspection photos are sent when the parcel arrives. Sealed albums stay sealed.
  6. Shipping with tracking, or hold the parcel to combine with later orders.

What to buy on Weverse Shop

  • Standard albums (about ₩18,500). Weverse states that every album it sells counts fully on Hanteo and Circle.
  • Weverse Albums versions (about ₩12,000). Light, small and cheaper than the disc version.
  • Album sets (₩37,000–₩59,400). All versions of one release in a single product.
  • LPs (₩51,900). Vinyl editions of solo albums. Fragile and bulky, so packaging matters.
  • Magazine cover issues (₩12,900 each). Sold by pre-order with multiple cover types and a discounted full set.
  • Tour merch and BT21 goods. Each has its own tab on the storefront.
  • Fan-club memberships. Global, Japan and US memberships are separate products. Buy yours on your own account.

Things that go wrong, and how to avoid them

Stock-out on pre-orders. The magazine notice says sales run "until stock runs out". Popular items can close early. If an item is gone when the order is placed, you are refunded under the refund policy.

Fixed ship dates. Pre-orders ship from a stated date. The October 1 magazine pre-order ships from October 28. Your parcel waits in Korea until then, and a consolidated box waits with it.

Per-product limits. Nine copies on one album, twelve on a magazine cover, five on its set. Limits differ by product, and orders over the limit can be refused.

First-press extras. The QR card used for purchase verification and surveys is included only in the first production run. A later pressing arrives without it.

Outbox condition. Weverse does not exchange or refund for marks on the outer box, which it treats as protective packaging.

Customs on multiple parcels. Weverse warns that many orders sent to one overseas address may be taxed or blocked at customs, and that duty caused by bulk orders is the buyer's cost.

Lost limited items. A wrong address can mean delay or loss, and Weverse says limited-quantity products may not be re-sent.

Membership-only items and event entries. These attach to the buyer's own Weverse account. An order placed from HaulKorea's account does not carry your membership or your name. Ask us before you order.

**Batteries.

Returns, sizing and customs

Weverse's return rules depend on the seller: Weverse Global, Weverse Japan and Weverse America each have a policy in the help center. We could not open the Weverse Global section to read the exact window, so check it before you buy. The product page does say that the withdrawal and refund rules of the seller's country apply.

When HaulKorea buys for you, any return has to happen while the parcel is still in Korea. That is the purpose of the inspection photos: you can spot a wrong item or real damage before export. Remember that outbox scuffs are not accepted as a defect by the store. HaulKorea's own terms are on the refund page.

Apparel pages list measurements in centimeters. Compare them with a garment you own.

Customs differs by country. If you order direct, Weverse now collects your country's taxes at checkout. With HaulKorea, orders to the United States have duties included in the price. For other countries, duties are not included and the recipient pays them.

FAQ

Is there a separate Weverse Shop for Korea? Not as a separate site. You choose language, currency and shipping country at the top of the page. With KRW and Korea selected you see tax-inclusive won prices from the Korea-based seller, Weverse Global.

Does Weverse Shop ship internationally? Yes, for products that allow it. The product page shows whether an item ships to your country once you are logged in.

Do Weverse Shop albums count on Hanteo and Circle? Yes. Product pages state that all albums sold on Weverse Shop are 100% reflected in Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart tallies.

Can I pay with PayPal? Yes, in won, US dollars, yen and Mexican pesos. In Chinese yuan the options are Eximbay, Alipay+, Apple Pay and WeChat Pay.

Why is my checkout total higher than the product page price? For delivery outside Korea, product pages show tax-exclusive prices. Tax for your country is added and prepaid at checkout, along with shipping.

How many copies can I buy? It depends on the product. We saw limits of 9, 12 and 5 on different items.

Can HaulKorea buy membership-only merch for me? Ask us before you order. Those items are tied to the member's own account, so usually not.
