How to Buy from KREAM from Overseas (2026 Guide)

KREAM does not deliver outside Korea. Its terms of service say so directly, the site is in Korean, and sign-up ends with a Korean identity check. What makes KREAM worth the trouble is that every item passes through its inspection center before it reaches the buyer. This guide explains how KREAM's bid-and-ask market works, what it costs, and how cancellation works. It also states one rule up front: HaulKorea buys KREAM items only when your size is available for 빠른배송 (ppareun baesong, fast delivery).

What is KREAM and why do sneaker buyers use it?

KREAM is Korea's largest limited-edition resale platform. It launched in 2020 inside Snow, a Naver subsidiary, and was spun off as its own company in January 2021. If you know StockX-style markets, the model is familiar: sellers post asking prices, buyers post bids, and the platform sits in the middle.

The difference from Bunjang or Joonggonara is that buyer and seller never deal with each other. KREAM's FAQ describes trades as anonymous. There is no chat and no haggling. A seller ships the item to KREAM, its inspection team checks it, and only items that pass are sent on. Product pages carry the line "100% authentic guarantee, expert inspection, triple compensation for fakes."

That structure removes most of the usual secondhand risk. It also explains the prices. A common pair can trade well below retail: when we checked, the New Balance 530 Steel Grey showed ₩78,000 against a retail price of ₩129,000. A limited release can trade far above it.

KREAM has grown past sneakers into apparel, bags, watches, electronics, and collectibles. For overseas buyers the main attractions are Korea-exclusive colorways, collaborations with Korean brands, and sizes sold out elsewhere.

Can you buy from KREAM directly from overseas?

No. There are three obstacles.

Delivery. Article 28 of KREAM's terms states that delivery overseas is not possible in principle and that items ship only to addresses in Korea.

Sign-up. The join page asks for an email and password, then the button reads 본인 인증하고 가입하기 ("verify your identity and join"). Korean identity verification runs through a Korean mobile line or similar. Overseas users report that a foreign number does not pass.

Payment. Checkout is built around Korean cards and pay apps. Whether a foreign-issued card works is something we could not confirm.

There is no English version of the buying flow. Product names often appear in English, but inspection notices and terms are in Korean.

How buying on KREAM works: bids, buy now, and two delivery speeds

This section decides whether HaulKorea can buy your item.

즉시 구매 (jeuksi gumae, buy now). You pay the lowest asking price for your size.

구매 입찰 (gumae ipchal, bid). You name your own price. If a seller accepts it, the order is matched and your registered payment method is charged.

Standard delivery. The seller still has the item. After the match, the seller has 48 hours (Sundays and holidays excluded) to ship it to KREAM. KREAM inspects it, then ships to the buyer. Product pages estimate five to seven business days. If the item fails inspection, the payment is cancelled and the refund takes three to five business days.

빠른배송 (fast delivery). KREAM's FAQ defines it this way: items that passed inspection through 보관판매 (bogwan panmae, storage sale) and are already kept in KREAM's warehouse can ship the same day when bought now. If the order comes too late in the day, it ships the next day. The FAQ adds that every storage-sale item has already been judged a pass under KREAM's inspection standard, and that fast delivery adds a ₩5,000 shipping charge.

One more term to know: 95점 상품 (95-point items). These are storage-sale items with a minor issue that falls under "buyer's decision" in the inspection standard. KREAM shows the reason and inspection photos before purchase. They are not the same as regular passed stock, so check which one you are looking at.

HaulKorea buys fast-delivery items only. Here is why

HaulKorea orders KREAM items that are available for fast delivery in your size, and nothing else on KREAM. We do not place bids, and we do not buy standard-delivery trades.

• The item is already in KREAM's warehouse. Nobody is waiting on a private seller to pack a box.
• It has already been inspected. A standard trade can be cancelled days later because the seller never shipped or the item failed.
• Timing is predictable. Dispatch is same day or next day, so we can give you one total without an open-ended wait.
• Nobody has to answer an inspection notice for you. In a standard trade, a gray-area finding gives the buyer 24 hours to decide. We would be making that call for you, in Korean, about shoes you have not seen.

How to tell if fast delivery is available. On the product page, under the buy button, KREAM lists the delivery options. When we checked a popular pair it read: 빠른배송 ₩5,000 with an arrival date for the next day, then 일반배송 ₩3,000 with "within 5–7 business days." That block tells you the model has warehouse stock. Availability is per size, though. In the size list that opens from the buy button, sizes that can ship from the warehouse carry a green lightning-bolt mark next to the price.

If your size has no fast delivery, we cannot order it. Stock changes as sellers send pairs in, so check again later, or look for the same shoe new at a Korean retailer and send us that link.

The fast-delivery price can differ from the lowest standard ask for the same size. If it costs a little more, that difference is what you pay for certainty.

What inspection covers, and how cancellation really works

KREAM publishes inspection criteria by product type and ships only items that pass. For buyers, inspection is free.

Cancellation. KREAM's policy gives a 30-minute window after payment in which an order can be cancelled for free. After 30 minutes the order becomes a confirmed purchase automatically. From there:

• Fast-delivery items cannot be cancelled.
• Standard items can be cancelled, for a ₩5,000 fee, until the seller enters shipping details. After that, no.
• An account can cancel at most five orders a day.

Returns. KREAM's FAQ says trades between individuals cannot be exchanged or returned for a change of mind or a mistake. Its terms explain why: these are private sales, so the usual online withdrawal right does not apply.

Gray-area findings. When inspectors find something that is short of a fail, KREAM puts the order on hold and asks the buyer. If the buyer does not choose within 24 hours, the order is treated as passed and the result cannot be changed. This applies to standard trades, where inspection happens after payment.

What is not covered. KREAM does not treat issues the manufacturer itself would not call defects as grounds for cancellation. It guarantees authenticity and its stated standard, not a flawless box.

Forwarding is realistic only for people who lived in Korea and kept an account. It is also the only route to bids and standard trades.

HaulKorea covers the fast-delivery part of KREAM. The price is on the page and the item has passed inspection before we pay. One caution: prices move, which is why we ask for a price ceiling.

Step by step: ordering a KREAM item through HaulKorea

1. Open the product page on kream.co.kr and pick the exact model. Match the model number shown on the page.
2. Note your size in millimeters. KREAM lists Korean sizing: 260, 265, 270. The page has a conversion table, which KREAM itself calls a reference only.
3. Check that your size has fast delivery. Look for 빠른배송 and the green lightning-bolt mark on your size. If it is not there, stop here.
4. Copy the product address and paste it into the quote form with your size.
5. Tell us your price ceiling. A maximum lets us proceed if the price moves a little and stop if it jumps.
6. Review the total and pay once by PayPal. International shipping is included. If the measured weight is lower, the shipping difference is refunded. There is no later charge.
7. We buy the fast-delivery item and it reaches our warehouse. If that stock is gone by the time we order, we do not switch to a standard trade. You are refunded under our refund policy. Because a fast-delivery order is final after 30 minutes, we cannot cancel it for a change of mind. When the parcel arrives we send inspection photos.

What does a KREAM order cost?

Sellers pay their own fee of 5.5–6% on general items, in effect since March 2, 2026. That is not charged to you, but it is part of why asks sit where they do.

What to buy on KREAM

Things that go wrong on KREAM (and how to avoid them)

Your size has no fast delivery. The most common reason we turn down a request. Warehouse stock differs by model and by size.

Fast-delivery stock ran out between quote and purchase. A single pair may be all there is. If it sells first, the order does not go ahead and you are refunded.

The price changed. Normal on a live market. Give a ceiling in step 5.

You changed your mind after we ordered. Fast-delivery orders are final 30 minutes after payment. Be sure of model and size before you pay.

Wrong size. There are no exchanges. Measure a shoe you own.

Box condition. Shoe boxes are bulky, and international rates use volume as well as weight. If you want the box removed, say so before we ship. If resale value matters, keep it.

Items that cannot ship by air. KREAM also lists fragrances and electronics with batteries. Limited drops. HaulKorea does not enter draws. Once a released pair shows up as fast-delivery stock, we can buy it like any other.

Returns, authenticity, and customs

There is no return for change of mind on KREAM, and that carries through to a HaulKorea order. If the pair is authentic and within KREAM's standard, it is yours. Our inspection photos let you see the item before export, but they do not reopen KREAM's decision. One practical point: KREAM stops guaranteeing an item once its inspection tag or seal is removed or damaged, so keep it attached if that guarantee matters to you. See our refund policy.

Customs depend on the destination. For the United States, HaulKorea's total includes duty and you pay nothing on delivery. For other countries, duty and tax are not included and the recipient pays them.
